Requirements are:

• The candidate must have a bachelors / masters / University degree.
• Less than 18 months professional experience (NOT including Internships or Summer / Student jobs).

Programme content
Toyota offers an 18-month Graduate Development Programme (GDP). This program is targeted towards recent graduates looking for their first job to start and develop their career.

As a graduate, you will be assigned a real job from the beginning where you will spend the majority of your time, being supported and guided by your colleagues and mentor. You will also participate in a number of training courses and placements to help you learn, understand and practice how to work in the Toyota Way:

• Classroom training:
  • Learn about corporate culture and strong identity
  • Learn how to write reports and communicate effectively
  • Learn how to manage projects
  • Learn how we solve problems
• Placements:
  • Spend 8 weeks in one of our production plants as a team member working on the line and experiencing the famous Toyota Production System
  • Spend 2 weeks at one of our retailers and experience our “customer first” philosophy
